City Walls : The triangular promontory on which old Istanbul is located is surrounded by city walls. The 22 km long walls date back to the 5th century, the Roman era. The original city of Byzantium expanded toward the west and new city walls were erected four times, each time enlarging the city further.
Drive by to Golden Horn : As natural and extremly secure harbor, the Golden Horn has played an important role in the development of Istanbul.The inlet separates teh European shore into two. It is approximately 8 km long and the widest part is the entrance from the Bosphorus.Two streams drain into this inlet at its far end.
Cruise on the Bosphorus : An amazing cruise between the two continents EURO and ASIA,along the Bosphorus by the Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi Palaces, wooden villas and mansions up to the Rumeli Fortress.
Rumeli Fortress & Leander's Tower (From the sea): The biggest fortification of Istanbul can be seen clearly during our Bosphorus Cruise. Leander's Tower is a small and attractive tower built on an islet at the entrance to the Bosphorus.It is one of the symbols of Istanbul.Used in the past as a watchtower and a lighthouse, it has been preserved in its 19th Century apparance.
Dolmabahce Palace :The Dolmabahce Palace , a blend of various European architectural styles, was built between 1843 - 1856 by Karabet Balyan, the court architect of Sultan Abdulmecid.The three-storied palace built on symmetrical plan has 285 rooms and 43 halls.The palace has survived intact with its orginal decorations, furniture and the silkj carpets and curtains.It surpasses all other palaces in the world wealth and magnificence.
Camlica Hill :268 meters above the sea level, one of the highest points of the city with a splendid Bosphorus view.
Bosphorus Bridge located between Ortaköy and Beylerbeyi, connects not only these two neighbourhoods but also Europe and Asia continents. During your 2 minutes drive from Europe to Asia on Bosphorus Bridge, you’ll have a chance to see and also took photos of one of the best views of Bosphorus.
